The prospect of thousands of overseas visitors looking for accommodation in South Wales during the Ryder Cup tempted thousands of homeowners to register their properties on accommodation websites set up specially for the event. But although they were advised by some agencies to ask for over 10,000 pounds for a week's rental for their homes, many hopeful clients haven't received any enquiries about their properties. Rachel Treadaway-Williams investigates whether the hype created false hope and why the websites carried on registering properties without warning clients that demand was almost non-existent. Audiences are flocking to the latest films, but film critic Gary Slaymaker discovers that some 3D films are actually shot in 2D and converted to 3D during the editing process.
