When air hostess Claire Devlin first appeared on Would Like To Meet back in 2003 she was a single, loud party animal always up for a laugh. Her laughter, however, masked her deep sadness that she didn't have the long term relationship that she so desperately wanted. The team's main priority was to address Claire's crippling low self confidence and make her believe in herself. Now, five years on, Tracey goes back to meet Claire who now has a great new boyfriend and a wonderful home, and makes them paint a commitment canvas to illustrate their shared hopes for the future. It was a similar story for 35 year-old Helen Thorogood. Five years ago, despite being a successful business woman, Helen was caught in a pattern of drunken one night stands which, although satisfying at the time, left her feeling worthless in the morning. Alcohol seemed to be at the root of her problems, so Tracey encouraged her to hit the town sober and actually strike up conversation with the men she met, while Jeremy took Helen to the beach where she lived and asked her to mark in the sand how she rated herself. Helen marked her confidence levels at just 2 out of 10. Now five years have passed, and when Jeremy goes back to meet Helen he is delighted to find that she's just returned from her honeymoon, and when asked again to mark her confidence levels in the sand... the beach just wasn't big enough.
