Kevin LeGendre introduces highlights from Ethiopiques in concert at London's Barbican in June 2008. Backed by the American Either/Orchestra and appearing together for the first time outside of Ethiopia, the artists include Mahmoud Ahmed and Alemayehu Eshete (vocals), Mulatu Astatqe (keyboard and percussion) and Getachew Mekurya (tenor saxophone).
