World Pipe Band Championships - 2008

Jackie Bird introduces coverage of the 2008 World Pipe Band Championships. More than 8000 pipers and drummers, representing 250 bands from 17 different countries, converge on Glasgow Green for one of the biggest events in Scotland's cultural calendar. Coverage includes the elite Grade 1 competition, where the Field Marshall Montgomery Pipe Band from Belfast will seek to make it three World championship titles in a row.
