A new campaign is under way in Manchester to encourage more women to donate their eggs. Sheila is joined by two-time egg donor Sharon West, John Harris, Professor of Bioethics, and Professor Brian Lieberman, Medical Director of Manchester Fertility Services. Sheila asks how often grown up children should call their parents and who should make the first move. Ministers are expected to make an announcement later today which will mean hundreds of thousands more women will have the right to claim a full state pension from 2010. Sheila discusses the news with Katherine Rake from the Fawcett Society. Pigeon racing has become big business and is attracting increasing numbers of women, many of them top racers. Judy Merry speaks to 16-year-old Kirsty from Bradford who has just taken it up and to Violet Mathers from Barnsley, who has been racing pigeons for half a century.
