The UK premiere of Brecht's Turandot is currently playing at the Hampstead Theatre in London. Jane is joined by John Deathridge, Professor of Music at King's College, London and Hilary Finch, music critic for The Times, to discuss this fable about a woman who refused to get married, outwitted men and cut off her suitors' heads. Nicola Tyra has told the story of the the Queen Alexandra Imperial Military Nursing Service in her new book, Sisters in Arms.
