Autism is thought to affect four times as many boys as girls but experts now believe this gender discrepancy could be down to the way girls are being diagnosed. We discuss why high functioning girls with autism are often misdiagnosed. This year is the fiftieth anniversary of Cuba's Revolution, and the country has made huge advances towards equality, especially in areas of political participation and healthcare, and a legal framework for defending women's rights.
