Wolverine and The X-Men - Stolen Lives

When an explosive event shatters the lives of the X-Men and takes away their mentor, the beaten heroes walk away from it all. Wolverine, the most legendary of all X-Men, reunites them to prevent the world's destruction. Wolverine receives a mysterious call warning that Christy Nord is in trouble. He arrives too late: Christy is missing. Mystique admits to Wolverine that she is the one that called him and might know where Weapon X have taken her. He is not sure what the catch is, but agrees to team up with her for Christy's sake. Wolverine is surprised by Mystique's knowledge of Weapon X and questions her motives. She reveals that she was once known as Raven and was part of Weapon X, and it was only because the man she loved sacrificed himself that she escaped. Wolverine is having his own flashbacks from his unbearable years as an experiment for Weapon X. Worse yet, he runs into the Professor from his nightmares and his new female Wolverine-type experiment, X-23. Haunted by the similarities, he pushes on, looking for Christy. When they find where she is being held, Maverick is guarding their passage. He has no recollection of his past and doesn't realise that he is putting his own daughter's life in danger. They manage to flee with Christy before the facility goes up in flames. As Wolverine watches it burn, he finally remembers Raven from his past. He was the man that Raven loved and lost. He became a Weapon X experiment for her freedom. He is determined not to let another life be torn apart by Weapon X. Maverick has been unconscious since being pulled from the facility. He finally awakens with Christy at his bedside. Finally, father and daughter are reunited.
