Wingin' It - Cheer Me Up

Live-action comedy. Reckless angel in training Porter has been sent to Earth to earn his wings. His task - to transform hapless student Carl into the most popular kid in the school. When a spot opens on the cheer squad, Porter uses his magic to make Carl an expert cheerleader and Carl quickly gets a spot on the team. With his new-found skills, it is not long before Carl wrests the squad spotlight from Brittany, the former star cheerleader, and she quickly hatches a plan to get him kicked off the team. Meanwhile, after Jane discovers that the final chapter of her new favourite book, Cosmonaut Claire, has been ripped out, she embarks on a quest to find out how the story ends. Dr Cassabi helps out by bringing the author to meet Jane, but he must conceal the fact that the author has been dead for 25 years.
