Sue Barker presents live coverage of the 2008 women's singles final at Wimbledon as Venus Williams faces her sister Serena for the third time in the showpiece occasion. Despite winning the title four times previously, she has yet to beat her younger sister in a Wimbledon final, having lost to Serena in 2002 and 2003. The famous Centre Court has witnessed some classic finals in the past. 30 years ago, Martina Navratilova edged out great rival Chris Evert 7-5 in the deciding set to claim the first of her nine singles titles. Ten years later, Navratilova herself was beaten by a 19-year-old Steffi Graf, who was on her way to her famous "golden" slam. But there can have been few more popular winners than a decade ago when Jana Novotna won the title that had agonisingly eluded her in two previous finals. Last year, it was Venus Williams who lifted the famous Venus Rosewater dish for a fourth time after her victory over French player Marion Bartoli.
