Wildlife documentary looking at the different tactics employed by males of various species in Africa to help rear children. A baboon father defends his family from a prowling cheetah, unlike the mole-rat dad which becomes a sex-slave, leading a life of luxurious idleness. The paternal habits of hippos, frogs, weaver birds and dung-beetles are also analysed.
