Wanted Down Under Revisited catches up with some of the original British families who tried out life in Australia and New Zealand to find out where they are now. Gary and Callie Wall from Bury, Lancashire dreamt of emigrating to Australia for many years. Diesel fitter Gary hoped he could earn enough down under to afford a better lifestyle. Wife Callie was tired of living in Britain too, and hoped for more for her children. To help them consider the massive risk they would be taking, in 2006 they sampled life in Queensland. But was it all they dreamed it would be? Was the pull of a new life in Australia enough to get them to leave friends and family behind in Bury? We caught up with them to find out.
