Reports overnight suggest the French electricity company, EDF, has agreed to sell it's British power grids to a consortium led by the Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-Shing for £5.5 billion. Britain's pubs continue to suffer from falling sales after a poor showing during the World Cup. Finally, British Airways is expected to post millions of pounds in losses for the first quarter of the year.
