The online betting exchange Betfair, has announced an initial public offering of £1.5bn to float the company on the London Stock Exchange. We ask John Heaton, managing director of the Betting and Gaming Consultancy, just why the business has grown so quickly since it was founded ten years ago. Ireland is to try to raise more money from investors, as a political row rages over the Prime Minister, Brian Cowen. He's facing calls to stand down after claims he slurred through a radio interview after a late night socialising with colleagues.
