Thirteen Days

Tense political thriller set during the two-week Cuban missile crisis in October 1962, when America discovered that the Soviet Union was building secret nuclear missile bases on the island. President Kennedy was under extraordinary pressure to find a solution that would satisfy the military and the public and, most importantly, avoid a nuclear war that could lead to mutual destruction.
