Ian McMillan presents Radio 3's cabaret of the word live from the Radio Theatre. He's joined by the doyenne of traditional music June Tabor. As an interpreter of song and a former librarian June Tabor has always said that the words are as important to her as the music. For The Verb she'll be performing work from her new album. And, Tom McCarthy, the writer and conceptual artist, introduces a new radio poem using techniques which inspired him to write his Man Booker shortlisted novel 'C'.
