The Tattooed Stranger

Crime thriller. A woman is murdered in Central Park, New York. The police have one clue to help their investigation: a United States Marine Corps emblem tattooed on the murder victim's wrist that someone has tried to deface. Using forensic science and investigation, the victim's identity is discovered. But what of the murderer?
