Drama about two small-town girls who arrive in Chicago to find fame and fortune. Ruby wants to be a fashion designer, Holly simply wants a city salary to help out her family. Both girls' heads are turned by the chance to become a bunnygirl in Hugh Hefner's blossoming Playboy empire. But whereas Holly's personality enables her to rise quickly through the glamour ranks, Ruby becomes dependent on drugs.
