Two men were shot in the legs on Tuesday night in a punishment style attack in Derry's Creggan estate. Both men were pulled from their homes and shot in the legs while their families watched on in horror. They're now recovering in hospital. Already this year, according to official figures, there have been 41 punishment shootings and assaults between April and June 2009. Why are these barbaric crimes on the increase?
