PSNI statement RE attack in W Belfast Late on the Saturday night officers quickly arrived on the scene following the initial report. An examination of the immediate scene was carried out however there was nothing of an evidential nature located. Immediate enquiries were carried out in the area in relation to possible CCTV coverage and several people were spoken to. Early on Sunday morning a thorough examination of the scene and the surrounding area was also carried out. Several items have been seized for further examination, including clothing. Several appeals have been made to the public and officers are following a number of lines of enquiry.
