It's been announced that child benefit is to be axed for higher rate taxpayers from 2013. The chancellor George Osborne said it was absolutely necessary given the financial situation we face. Parents earning over £44,000 who pay 40% tax and above will be affected. What do you think, should the middle classes be hit to fund ways of getting the so called work shy off benefits?
