The Shee are live in session playing tracks from their new album, Decadence. Vic talks to authour Rob Chapman about Syd Barrett - one of the most influential musicians of the psychedelic sixties. Although his musical career was short lived, he wrote and produced some of the most outstanding music of the time and was the inspired singer-songwriter at the very start of Pink Floyd. This week a brand new album 'An Introduction to Syd Barrett' was released showcasing his music as a solo artist and during his few years in Pink Floyd. Vic and Rob consider some of the myths and legend that surround Barrett, one of the lost souls of the sixites. The relationship between music and politics goes back years - from protest songs to the way music can define a government and a generation. But history has also shown that politicians, of all parties, like to use music to their own advantage... ...sometimes it works, sometimes they end being sued! Iain MacDonald explores the rocky relationship between the Pop-songs and the politicians!
