Although his musical career was short lived, he wrote and produced some of the most outstanding music of the time and was the inspired singer-songwriter at the very start of Pink Floyd. This week a brand new album 'An Introduction to Syd Barrett' was released showcasing his music as a solo artist and during his few years in Pink Floyd. Vic and Rob consider some of the myths and legend that surround Barrett, one of the lost souls of the sixites. The relationship between music and politics goes back years - from protest songs to the way music can define a government and a generation.
