The Mike Harding Show - BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2011 Nominations

Tonight, Mike Harding announces the nominations for the 2011 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. There'll also be a chance to hear music by all of the nominated artists. A panel of more than a hundred and fifty folk music professionals have cast their votes, and tonight Mike will reveal the top four in each of the categories - including Best Album, Folk Singer of the Year and The Horizon Award for most promising emerging act. Once the nominations have been announced in tonight's show the panel will vote again to establish the winner in each category, and the results will announced at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards ceremony on 7 February 2011 at The Brewery in London.
