Mike Harding presents an hour of the very best in folk, roots and acoustic music, including an interview with the duo Nancy Kerr and James Fagan. Born into musical families in the UK and Australia respectively, Nancy Kerr and James Fagan have performed separately with a number of major acts including Eliza Carthy (Nancy) and Bellowhead (James). They formed their own duo in the mid-nineties and since then have earned a reputation as one of the hardest-working and finest-sounding live acts on the scene. Despite being best known for their arrangements of traditional material, their new album Twice Reflected Sun is made up of songs and tunes composed by Nancy and James. Mike Harding talks to the duo about their careers thus far, their plans for the future, and what inspired their writing for the new album.
