The Last Millionaire - Cairo

Series in which 12 of Britain's most successful young entrepreneurs compete to see who can create the most profitable businesses in six different cities across the world. Completely out of their comfort zones, stripped of all luxury, they are tested to see how successfully they can create a business from scratch in a different sector and a different country each time. Eight remain to fight it out in the Egyptian capital of Cairo. Staying in a backpackers' hostel, the entrepreneurs must choose a partner and then spend the week trying to build a business from scratch. If they can outwit their rivals and make the most cash they will be the pair who gets to fly home back to their millionaire lifestyles. The others remain and fly on to the next city. The business theme for Cairo is tourism. Struggling against the heat, the language and the culture the entrepreneurs have only 630 Egyptian pounds (about 60 English pounds) with which to start their businesses. One couple puts on a Tutankhamen lecture, another organises VIP packages for tourists and a third provides city guides for backpackers. As the week draws to a close and the winners are announced, the remaining six entrepreneurs can only watch with envy as the most successful duo head back to their glamorous lives.
