The Human Stain

Adaptation of a Philip Roth novel, in which a classics professor struggles to guard a terrible secret. A writer researching a biography on this supposedly upstanding man runs into surprising information. However, it is the knowledge of the professor's affair with a young janitor which tips the balance, with ruinous consequences.
