This week Fun Lovin' Criminal Huey Morgan meets new funk and soul 3-piece Belleruche. Signed to the Brighton based indie-label Tru Thoughts Belleruche have had a successful year, releasing their album '270 Stories' to acclaim, airplay and a 6Music Craig Charles session! They've just finished their tour of the UK and ahead of heading out to the US and Australia Huey meets Kathrin and Ricky from the band to ask about their mix of influences from Hip Hop to rock and blues and find out about stealing the Raconteurs rider at the Montreux Jazz Festival! Also on the show the DJ trio hailed for their skills and eclectic record box, the Scratch Perverts start their residency in Sharing Is Caring, opening up the crates to share a rare or special cut. Huey has another "New York Minute" with DJ Uncle Mike, dialling into the Big Apple to reminisce about a classic NY musical moment and he puts the needle on the record for a listener in "Vinyl Fetish". All held together by Huey's usual selection of unusual tunes - from latin to soul, hip hop, rap, punk and reggae with the chair clicked firmly back in the recline position for a Sunday afternoon.
