Multiple award-winning Soweto Kinch not only dazzles the MOBOs but also the Montreaux Jazz Awards with his blend of jazz and hip-hop, mixing his prowess on the sax with dexterous rapping skills that combine socially cutting messages with a dash of humour. Huey talks to him about the political content of his music, striking out on his own label, his jazz education and understanding the keys.
