Huey catches up with the King of dance RnB, one of the 100 greatest Black Britons and Soul II Soul founding member Trevor Beresford Romeo OBE aka Jazzie B. They chat about Jazzie's long career as artist, producer and now radio DJ from running sound systems in London in the 60's and 70's through the Soul II Soul heyday at Covent Garden's Africa Centre to turning out hits such as 'Back To Life' and 'Keep On Movin' and producing artists from Nas to P.E., Destiny's Child and Isaac Hayes. Winner of the first Ivor Novello Inspiration Award in 2008 for his pioneering work, Huey talks to Jazzie about his current position as elder statesman of the British music scene and how he works with upcoming artists. This week's show is also the first opportunity for a listener to pick their favourite record for Huey to spin on wax in Vinyl Fetish. Packed with a selection of his favourite records from rock to punk, reggae, rap, soul and blues, Huey also, in this Valentine's Day special, turns 'Love Doctor' to his bemused listeners!
