Hardeep Singh Kohli takes a far out and groovy trip through India to find the elusive remnants of a previous generation, the 'pot-heads' who journeyed the Hippy Trail. He travels through India from the Sikh Golden Temple, where many hippies took advantage of free food and lodging, to the beaches of Goa, where he finds the strange drop-out remnants of another age. The programme features the music of not just the 1960s, but also the Hippy soundtrack of the 70s, 80s and 90s, including the enormously popular Goan Trance scene.
