The Future is Wild - The Vanished Sea

Series examining the way Earth may look in the distant future, and the weird and wonderful creatures that may populate various areas of the planet. Five million years into the future, the Earth is in the last throes of the current ice age. Humans are extinct and the movement of the African and European plates has left the Mediterranean land locked. Combined with the drier atmosphere, this has resulted in it largely drying out. State-of-the-art animation brings to life creatures such as Gryken, Cryptiles and Scrofa.
