Series examining the way Earth may look in the distant future, and the weird and wonderful creatures that may populate various areas of the planet. 5 million years in the future the Earth is in the last throes of the current ice age. Humans are extinct and the drier climate has had dramatic effects on the interior of the North American continent, turning it into a vast, cool desert frequently battered by fierce sandstorms.
