The Essay
William Hazlitt - Philosopher, William Hazlitt Senior
Series of talks arguing that William Hazlitt was a committed philosopher as well as a great essayist. Jonathan Ree argues that Hazlitt's whole intellectual career can be seen as a dialogue with his father - a politically radical Unitarian minister. Hazlitt came to question his father's beliefs as he became disillusioned with the French Revolution.
