Joining us for the whole programme today are Grant Shapps, Housing Minister, and Yvette Cooper, Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary. And we'll be taking a close look at welfare reform as our main story. As we write, Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith is taking questions from the Select Committee. Newspaper reports suggested the Chancellor was looking at cutting an extra £4bn from the welfare bill; Mr Duncan Smith says he does not recognise that figure. We'll be looking for answers. Nothing is more important than the defence of the realm... but the powerful, Conservative-led Defence Select Committee says the Government's Strategic Defence Review is being conducted too quickly and could put UK security at risk. Bank of England Governor, Mervyn King, is addressing the TUC conference this morning. Some hardline unionists think he is the real driver of the Government's cuts agenda which they oppose. We'll have the analysis. A one-off tax on the rich that could solve our debt crisis... sound like fantasy land? Not according to one academic who's done his sums and says it's the solution to our economic problems. Professor Greg Philo hops onto our soapbox. And we'll be getting a new angle on the election campaign fom the official election photographer, Simon Roberts. He'll bring along his camera and some of his snaps from his time on the road.
