Aled’s come up with a new game where we have to guess what comedy show or comedian he’s been watching from the audio. We have a little listen and this then spins us on to telling him a series of jokes, most of which he doesn’t understand 06:55 (00:25) – Chris is talking about the Cheryl Cole story in the Star today which mentions Dave’s question to her yesterday where she apparently hit back and scorned his remarks. We try out another joke on Aled, this time it’s the Chicken Tarka one. Still nothing. 07:05 (00:35) – We have another clip of Aled’s comedy watching game. We’ll find out what the answers are later 07:20 (00:50) – We have a quick blast of the Strictly Come Dancing game 07:28 (00:58) – Dom thought he saw Vanessa Feltz yesterday, but actually he didn’t. Dave did see her though the other day entering the BBC carpark 07:35 (01:05) – Aled got a response on Twitter from Stephen Fry the other day, after he tweeted that he thought QI was pompous. Aled has another clip of him watching comedy. This time the clip is from You’ve Been Framed. Dave doesn’t really understand QI, but actually nobody here really does as it happens 08:05 (01:35) – We plug the fact that Tim Minchin is on the show tomorrow 08:20 (01:50) – Dave’s got a game of guess what he did last night. He watched a VHS documentary about motorways ahead of his Mastermind recording a week on Monday 08:35 (02:05) – We plug Aled’s Bullying show which is on tonight 09:00 (02:30) – Tedious Link: Goldie – 'Inner City Life' 09:05 (02:35) – We do a further plug for 1Xtra’s Masterpieces week. Rachel has a surprise for one member of the team. It’s for Dave and it’s Jayne’s fascinator from Rachel’s wedding 09:10 (02:40) – We play Paulo Nutini’s interesting new song and then compare and contrast it with the jungle book 09:25 (02:55) – We talk briefly about Dave and Dom’s DJ set at Rachel’s wedding, and then Dave falling out with 3 people in an hour 09:35 (03:05) – Chris has been remixing some tracks for the album.
