Aled Jones talks to conductor Harry Christophers, the founder and driving force behind one of the UK’s most successful vocal ensembles, The Sixteen. Since it was formed twenty-nine years ago by Harry the Sixteen has grown from strength to strength. The group performs music ranging from early English polyphony to the twentieth century, a point which reflects the wide range of musical interests Harry has fostered over the years. Plus there’s news from YL, one of Finland’s oldest male voice choirs about a forthcoming release.
