Aled Jones's guests are Deborah Roberts and Laurie Stras, the musical directors of Musica Secreta, an early music group that specialises in performing music for female vocal ensemble. They talk about an emerging repertoire written in the 16th and 17th centuries by little-known but talented female composers, courtiers, courtesans and nuns.
