Graham Stewart questions the wisdom of Lloyds TSB's merger with HBOS in light of worse than expected record losses at HBOS. BBC Scotland's business and economy editor, Douglas Fraser, explains the scale of the problem and the prospects of legal action by shareholders against both the bank and the government. However, former Bank of Scotland boss, Sir Peter Burt, who campaigned against the merger last autumn, tells us why the takeover still remains 'the deal of the century'.
