The first edition of BBC Radio Scotland's weekly business programme. Presenter Graham Stewart travels to Perth to meet the founder and chief executive of Stagecoach, Brian Souter, who talks about the impact of the economic downturn, his company's foray into rail and the US bus market, and his belief that green taxes should replace income tax on the poor. Jamie McIvor reports on how the prudence of Lloyds TSB is paying off. And throughout the programme Graham is joined in the studio by Colin McLean of Edinburgh's SVM Asset Management and Richard Cairns, who's just taken over as head of Glasgow Chambers of Commerce.
