The Breakfast Club

Teen-angst comedy drama about five school kids - an athlete, a spoiled rich kid, a brainy nerd, an introverted loner and a rebellious punk - who are brought together on a day-long detention. Despite their original hostilities, and a psychotic teacher, the motley crew break the rules, bare their souls and find they have more in common than just attending the same high school.
