The Blue Planet - Coral Seas

David Attenborough narrates a natural history of the oceans. This programme focuses on the amazingly fragile ecosystems which have grown up around the world's coral reefs. The reefs take hundreds of years to develop from tiny larvae, and are adorned with spectacularly colourful life. However, this is not always an idyllic tropical paradise - one big storm can threaten the entire community.
