Ten shy children who love to sing but are terrified of performing in public are put through their paces by choirmaster extraordinaire Gareth Malone. Having already worked his magic on a tone-deaf town, reluctant schoolboys and wayward teenagers, Gareth attempts to build the youngsters' fragile confidence and turn them into singing stars capable of performing in front of a massive crowd - 40,000 people at London's Proms in the Park. The Big Performance tour bus has a treat in store for the ten shy singers, when they arrive back in Birmingham. It's pop week and they all get the full pop star treatment for the day. This time it's Isthaque's turn to take on the solo, singing the Black Eyed Peas mega hit, I Gotta Feeling. The group all get the full VIP treatment, starting in a studio that Lady Gaga and Jay Z themselves have worked in. Then, as every pop star needs the right moves, the group is given a crash course in the latest dance moves from celebrity choreographer Sisco Gomez, before recording their very own music video. As if that wasn't enough, they also have the ultimate pop challenge, performing at one of the UK's biggest shopping centres, to the hottest boy band around - The Wanted! Will they transform themselves into an all-singing, all-dancing pop group, or will the pressure of putting on a celebrity-worthy performance in front of real-life pop stars prove too much to handle?
