Clarrie is worried about Kathy, who seems very jumpy at the moment. Eddie reckons Kenton moving in would make any woman loopy. They discuss Nic again - Clarrie just can't help it, in spite of Eddie's disagreement. There's just something about her. Eddie thinks she's being really unfair. Ruth and David put in the barbed wire and netting to protect the new hedge as it establishes. Then Phil comes up to tell them there's stock all over the road - again. They get the cows in, and speculate on how they managed to get the fence down. Good job the bull didn't get out though. Phil and Jill enjoy their meal at the Station Hotel, reminiscing about their courtship days. Then Phil takes Jill to the top of Lakey Hill and presents her with an eternity ring. Deeply touched, Jill says it's the loveliest ring she's ever seen. It had to be, says Phil. Because fifty years isn't nearly enough. Nothing less than forever will do.
