Lynda's sacrificing her precious time applying for a heritage lottery grant for the churchyard restoration project. The minimum grant is £5000, which Caroline thinks is worth the paperwork. Lynda's sure Borsetshire Life will be interested, so with that letter to draft Lynda hasn't even got time to try Helen's samples of Oliver's cheese for Roy's tester sessions. Lynda wants details of the project to go on the village website but catches Jennifer at a bad time, and doesn't get much response. Caroline can't resist sampling Oliver's cheese at Helen's shop but agrees that her completing a tasting sheet wouldn't help the market research! There've been some positive comments but Caroline notices Izzy's rude remarks. Helen's quite happy to destroy that tasting sheet. Brian realises he should have settled the contractor issue weeks ago. With everything that's going on, he can't make a decision so to Adam's delight Brian's leaving things as they are - for this year, anyway. Brian's worried that Siobhan sounds wiped out. Siobhan insists this is how she was after her last chemo session but Brian's not convinced. Jennifer tries to assure him it's probably all in his mind. Brian tries to convince himself that perhaps Jennifer's right. Episode written by Simon Frith.
