Talking Books - Victoria Hislop

Victoria Hislop has written two books but already she is a bestseller with her first book 'The Island' selling more than a million copies in paperback and being translated into over 20 languages. Her second novel 'The Return' covers similar territory as the first dealing with family secrets and historical events. Hislop admits her books are 'beach reads' but as she tells Razia Iqbal they involve in depth research and a keen interest in the workings of the family.
