From Greyfriars Kirk in Edinburgh, marking the 500th anniversary of the birth of John Calvin, the French reforming theologian whose influence led to Scotland being called a Calvinist country. Rev Johnston McKay and former Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, Alison Elliot, draw on the tradition of worship which sprang from his thinking, and look behind the caricature of the man.
