Kele Okereke joins Lammo for his first live solo session from Maida Vale. It's been 7 years since he first handed Steve a demo of his band Bloc Party. Since then the band have released 3 albums and become one of the most influential British acts of the last 10 years. Now as he gears up for the release of his debut solo album, Kele is live from the BBC's Maida Vale Studios to play his first live solo session. Monday is a busy day as Lammo also makes the draw for the inaugural Britpop World Cup. 16 Britpop bands will be drawn against each other as we count down to Friday's final. Who will make the final? Blur? Oasis? Menswear? Voice Of God; Billboard Editor Mark Sutherland will be giving Steve the lowdown on each band and their odds of winning the Bripop World Cup. Having spent the weekend going through his postal sack, Steve starts the week by playing some of the new extraordinary music he's discovered. There'll also be another Lost 45 Record found deep within the Lamacq record collection and Steve will announce the winner of the Rebel Playlist. Plus there is music from the likes of Blur, Babybird and The Band.
