Star Trek - Series 3 - Wink of an Eye

The ship is invaded by a dying race seeking new bodies for regeneration. When Kirk disappears leaving no trace, Spock and the others are puzzled - but they do not realise he has been transformed into another being and has no real way of communicating with his crew.
