A look back at the contest where wannabe magicians battled it out for the ultimate prize in magic: to be the Sorcerer's apprentice. Hand-picked from thousands, the 14 sorcerees faced the toughest ride of their lives as every two days the Sorcerer set a new magical subject. But to become a master magician the sorcerees needed to learn more than just magical technique - they were also tested in a series of performance challenges, designed to turn them into confident stage performers. Only the toughest could survive the highs and lows, as they were pushed to their magical, theatrical, and emotional limits. Two sorcerees were eliminated from the contest after every magic performance. Six went into the final but only one could be crowned the next Sorcerer's apprentice.
